Our needs are so great that money is never enough. Besides contributing with Microcredit Summit Campaign to reach 175 million of poorest families in the world to receive a credit for the self-employment, our approach goes beyond with social focus. Currently GDLF is contributing with scholarships for children of women who are active within our program. We have other projects in the short term that are still outstanding by the lack of resources: 1. As expand our base of scholarships. 2. Having a social worker per region to guide our borrowers women, being a link with other institutions of social welfare and health. 3. Having a nurse by region, with responsibility for providing guidance on measures of health care and disease prevention for our borrowers and their families.
4. Medical clinic with a medic at each office with free service for our borrowers and simultaneously make an alliance with pharmacies for the adquisition of drugs at low cost to benefit our borrowers women and their families. There is much for to do but not only with the goodwill we can achieve these objectives and this is where it needs the support of those good souls who can contribute with a donation that will probably not make it so lacking as to our borrowers.
